There are a lot of AA Americans from St Louis and Illinois that were and is buried in this cemetery. I have grandparents and a uncle buried there but no gravestone or confirmed spot. A lot was lost when some of the graves were relocated, because records were not well kept.
Another AA American cemetery is Greenwood in Wellston Mo, which is a suburb. Volunteers have tried to clean up and mark known gravesites.
