Delia Green was 14 years old when she was shot and killed by Mose(s) "Cooney" Houston, also 14, on Christmas Eve, 1900, in Savannah, GA. The incident was immortalized in the song "Delia," or "Delia's Gone," which is known world-wide and has been recorded in the 1950s-1990s by several famous artists, including Harry Belafonte, Bob Dylan, and Johnny Cash. I'm doing research into the historical background of the song. I'd like to find Delia's grave. (And, of course, I'd also like to find living relatives of Delia and Mose whose families might have handed-down stories about Delia and Mose. Thanks.
