The "old mississippi city cemetery" is under the care of the Harrison County. they don't have records records of burial and was advised only the funeral home would have these. I will know next week if another funeral home may have them - as i have tried all possible others. having trouble ctcing the churches where the family gathered. i have tried all other cemeteries in the area incl "pineridge" and the biloxi city cemetery as they also have a "black" section, have been in ctc with the genealogy dept of the local library and still coming up with nothing - its like all family just disappeared - which leads me back to the "old MS city cemetery".we are members of ancestry.com and have been in ctc with the MS archives - and still no listing in the state death index.
any other ideas? thankyou..gjohnson
