Great News!
I am not sure how these family are connected, but I believe they are.

A short summary:

Edna Pope Pearson is the great-grandmother of my distant counsin, Everette Bratcher in Missouri.

Edna's eldest daughter married a Jack Bratcher and their son Theo Bratcher and Mattie Cole had two sons Everette & Theo. Mattie's parents were Henry & Mattie Cole. Mattie died before after 1923, but I am not sure when and Everette was too small to remember. I do not have the names of Mattie's sibilings.

Edna's youngest daughter, Tennesse Pearson married a Robert Henry Adair in 1898 and they had 9 children. I have Tennesse's obit 1983 and I can locate a few of Robert's sibilings.

I believe on the 1920 or 1930 Cross County census report a Melvin Hare (blind) is living with Tennesse and he is listed as her newphew. I do not know Melvin's parents nor his siblings names.

Also, there is one Washington family on the,Harrisburg, Poinsett County 1870 census report. Off hand I do not have their names in front of me, but this family might be of interest to you. The Washingtons are near or living with a Bradsher or Stafford family.
I have wondered over the years about this Washington family. My Bratcher/Bradsher came to Arkansas with the Bradsher/Stafford family.

WoW I thought this would be short...LOL
