Older folks sometimes referred to Mt. Auburn as the Sharp Street Cemetery.
In order to have them do a search, you can call the cemetery (Mt. Auburn) at 410-547-0337-Leave you name, number and address and they will send you a "form" for a marker location for your relative, I think they charge $15 for it. Or you can call the Sharp Street Church itself at 410-523-7200.
Unfortunately, they might not be able to help in locating your ancestor, as there is currently only a "Blank" map with no markers on it, and the cemetery itself is in such bad shape it would take nothing short of a miracle to find them.
The Board of Directors, Regional Stephney, is in charge of the cemetery and its upkeep.
