My great grandmother was burried in Mount Auburn, July of 1982. I was a very young child at the time. My family did take me to visit the grave site as a child. The only recollection/memory of the place for me was the day she was finally laid to rest at Mount Auburn. I finally had the opportunity to visit about ten to twelve years ago. I was shocked to realize that I would be unable to locate her grave site and that the place would be in such deplorable conditions. This was very upsetting to me.

I would love to get some type of assistance in locating her grave site and maybe start a committee to include many of the surving family members of ancestors burried in Mount Auburn. Maybe we can find a way to restore/maintain this local landmark in Baltimore. Due to it's vast history, it deserves to be preserved.
