[Guyana] John Henry Washington

I am looking for information about my Grandfather - John Henry Washington (nee Matthews) born in Guyana in 1869 died in County Kildare, Ireland in 1925. There were apparently suspicous circumstances surrounding his and his brother's departure from Guyana, including the word murder.

Can anyone help please.
