I had wondered why aliens shouldn't register... seemed to me that under the circumstances, they might have had to prove something about where their loyalties might lie to someone in authority. But I took my earlier informant's word for it that they didn't, and never looked any further. Most unlike me - LOL. Thanks again for setting me straight on this.
