Brewster is an occupational name, given to someone who held the occuppation of a brewer of ale. one line of Brewster family were originally found in Lanakshire where the family can trace its origin to shortly after the norman conquest." see house of names.com Some of the Brewsters arrived in America on the mayflower ship and owned plantations and had black slaves. another branch of the brewsters lived in barbados and traveled back and forth to england and america and they owned slaves. so that how the black barbados people got their name
Brewster from their former slave masters brewster who was a large clan descendent of scottish kingdom. now its time to go on the computer and order a dna kit and find out where your real bloodline came from in africa or india or one of the native aborigines in the carribean. Its available to all of us and this will tell us of our anscestors.
