My husband is also from St. Elizabeth - Santa Cruz. His name is Allan Hamilton and he knows but is not in touch with, nor really has any interest in his father. His name is Hambert Hamilton and I do believe he is from Southfield also. For some strange reason (a Jamaican thing I guess) his father really has not played any part in getting to know or be with his son- so for my children thats where their genealogy stops they only have 1 real grandfather to them that's my dad and it really is so sad. When they ask me about their grandfather I say I don't know. Anyway I saw this article while browsing the net and felt that it was really too much of a coincidence LOL. I have seen my husband's father once and he actually was fair skinned with hazel or grey eyes. maybe because my husband is dark skinned with d. brown eyes (from his beautiful mother's genes) is why his father has had no dealings with him.
