So glad you asked.

There are a couple of things you can do to get the original record once you have more specific info from the familysearch database.

1. You can go to Salt Lake City and research in the main center.

2. You can look up your nearest Family Search Center and have the microfilm transferred there and look at the record there. https://familysearch.org/locations/centerlocator

3. You can contact Barbados and ask what it would cost to have the original record pulled. It varies from island to island so I can't be more specific. I'm sure some of the Afrigeneas family may have other ideas for you. I just did a quick check of the Afrigeneas old posts and a few people traded messages about some options for taking this step.
