Hi, I am also a Bent. My father was the late Theodore Bent from Southfield St Elizabeth Jamaica. I have always wanted to trace my family history and i intend to as much as i can. A cousin has done this but not much response to sharing information. I have a very basic tree which has been put together by my sister from information from my mother Inez Bent. I believe we are related to the Powells which connects to Colin Powell the ex US defence minister. My dad is believed to be his first cousin and i can see a resemblance to my late father. I am very proud of my name and would love to speak to others who may have information to share and to get to know my blood line.
