[BARBADOS] WORM FAMILY IN BARBADOS
By:Mike <Show E-Mail>

I am able to trace my family in Barbados way back to the mid 1800s. I am particularly interested in my great grand-mother who many say was of mixed race. I believe my white ancestor is her grandfather George A. Worm, whose profession is listed as Planter on his daughter's marriage certificate. On the other hand, he may be of mixed race and his folks are white. He would have been born around the 1830s or 1840s.

I believed the Worm family (also spelled Worme) was a plantation-owning family in Barbados. I have heard that the remaining Worms on the island are white.

if anyone can tell me about this family or has any info that would be great. Also just a note that the surname is either Worm or Worme.
