Recently I was in Belize by way of a cruise tour, and there in Belize I came across a lot of folks who in many ways seemed to look very much like folks I have seen here inthe U.S.; I saw houses that some of the Belizians lived in and reminded me of some houses I saw in the rural U.S. South back inthe 1950s and 1960s, and I will not say that some exist. I noticed that in Belize that many of the people are not only Belizian but Creole as well, and that there are some of those who are of both Indian (Mestiso-not a real spelling) and other Spanish connection. It makes me wonder if it is a possibility that some of our own people here in the U.S. are related to Belize people.
