thanks mari, i found a relative on one of the websites you gave me coming from cadiz, spain, i have old paintings of my relatives dating i800's, not all were slaves. I found the relatives of mine from ethiopia taken as slaves in ponce puerto rico on documents in ponce, pr. I have other relatives that are not african that were in spain of arab and spanish descent in the 1800's and early 1900's that also immigrated to puerto rico, and some of portugue descent. The cubangenweb site, i found difficult to obtain the cuban passenger list of names, i never did see the list, thankyou for your help. The sites have been very helpful and i will return to the websites again, mucho gracias!
