hello all, my family history can be traced to Irish Town, St. Andrews (Harrisons) and Buff Bay, Portland (McFarlane). I am told there is a large Harrison family in Irish Town still. I have also been told that our tree can be traced to the Maroons.

I also have Smith (married to Harrison) and Taylor (married to McFarlane) in my tree.

any clues as to how to find them without going through some of the problems i've read about in these forums?
