Hello all, I had a grandfather from barbados but I do not know his first name, only his last name Shelton. He was black so I assume he was a slave's descendant. I was wondering where I might look for more information about him and his ancestors. I believe one of the numerous shelton family originially from england owned a plantation with one of my ancestors on it. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
