Re: [CARIB] VARLACKS FROM ANEGADA
In Response To: Re: [CARIB] VARLACKS FROM ANEGADA ()
I just happened to see your post. I married a SMITH from St. Thomas. His mother, was a NORMAN from Anegada. According to my tree: Abraham Norman married Catherine Knight. They had 2 children: John Thomas and Patricia. John married Maria Flax. One of their children was Alice Maria, who married Abram Alexander Smith ("Sugar" Smith), who settled in St. T. He and his brother, James, built and operated the famous "Fancy Me" which was lost with almost all on board in a storm off San Domingo. Patricia married George Varlock. Their child was Clementine who was married to Captain James Smith of the "FancyMe" There are children of both families living in St. T. now. Hope this is clear.
