Looking for any info on the Greaves family. Allan B. Greaves "married" Elvira Brown of Georgetown, GY, sometime prior to 1882. Fathered 4 children: Thomas, Charles, Juliet (Julia) born 17 Jan 1884 and Gertrude born 02 Aug 1885. Allen born 1859-1868 & Elvira born ~1864 left GY for NYC via Barbados. Elvira, died (Nov 1900) and is buried in Westbury Cemetery, St. Michael, Barbados. Allan married Elizabeth and arrived in NYC "1900". Allan was said to own plantation in Georgetown, with his brother. He died in NYC 1922, buried in St. Michaels Cemetery, East Elmhurst, NY. All children immigrated to NYC, Gertrude married a Trotman but migrated to NYC, alone in 1918. Godmother of Gertrude, Hecorina Wright, lived on Saffon St.
