Searching for information on a SHOREY family that included Adolphus SHOREY, b. 1892, St John (Palmers), Barbados. His mother's maiden name was Florence Shorey. Adolphus came to the U.S. in 1917 from Barry Docks, Wales, and was a seaman.

This family includes cousins:

Philip SHOREY (b. 1892, Barbados), living in Baltimore in 1920; moved to Atlantic City.

Lillian, b. Barbados, lived in New York.

Other names mentioned in a 1928 letter from Florence to her son include: Alfred (to Cuba in 1920): Joseph & Hellena; Aunt Dora; Uncle Archer, and Leverson (in Cuba). Also Brewster, and Mrs. Bynoe who had died.
