Give me some more details - what were the names of her children? When, and where were they born? Do you know the name(s) of her husband(s). Any names of her brothers and sisters? Nieces and nephews and dates, places of birth? Any grandchildren born before 1930?

Was she from San Juan proper - or one of the barrios of San Juan?

Yes, there was a Puerto Rican census of 1900 - but it is only available on microfilm from NARA - U.S. Federal Census of Puerto Rico, 1899-1900.
