Try contacting Mary Gehman after you have checked her site, which is located at www.margaretmedia.com/mexico-creole/index.html/ She gives some information about her latest project, which is followed on the site by an article she has written. She says she has created a database, and I do hope perhaps your family may be located in it.

A second site is at www.pomona.edu/Magazine/PCMFL02/NKhistory.shtml/ and is an article by a Prof. Sid Lemelle, whose family is a part of the Donato group. He teaches at Pomona, and perhaps he can assist.
