Re: [PUERTO RICO] Vazquez
In Response To: Re: [PUERTO RICO] Vazquez ()

Thanks for the information,
I was always surprised by how much Swedish and Welsh DNA ended up in the gene pools.
I somehow have the eastern shore Tilghmans in my associated surnames. (Md)

I have started researching the the Arcadians, Sephardic Jew Migration & the Huguenots .

I have many Huguenot surnames.
& I'm reading a book about the Huguenot & their migrations currently. (involving the Dutch West Indies/ Caribbean) The Sephardi migrations to Jamaica & Barbados & their associated surnames. The ties between Barbados & South Carolina.

for instance, the surname "Senior/Serrior & de la Roche" and it's many altered ways of spelling those names which I have in SC & Haiti, Barbados, Louisiana.

There's also De Leon, Delgado. Cardozo, Pachecho & More.

some of my old surnames are here

http://www.afrigeneas.com/forum-carib/index.cgi/md/read/id/28298/sbj/misc-west-indies-esp-trottier-robinson-p/

I have another unusual surname that
morphs as it travels from SC to Haiti & Puerto Rico that I flagged. I''l try to find it
.

Thanks for taking the time out to share great information, Louis! -t.b. :)
