AfriGeneas Caribbean Research Forum

Re: [Misc] West Indies (esp. Trottier, Robinson) P

I wondered if the Acadaians & Huguenots shared
the same sources from their preferred enslaved (Senegal/Mali/Benin-Togo-Upper Guinea) once they reached the American shores
(imported from old french colonized territories,
or martinique, guadeloupe, cuba & mauritius
because" there's seems to be a lot of Caribbean migrations to other islands.) - Some of the surnames & migration paths seemed similar (for instance the surname Landry, is in both the Acadian & Huguenot files of my research
in different countries & it could be because they share the same source for their enslaved
).- t.b.
