Debra, i hope this will help U. I started my search with RGD in Nov of 09. I kept calling and checking email for response to Entry number because I was applying for my birth certificate. of course i could not get intouch with them. I finally spoke with some one who helped me. This is what I did. I print the application from their web site and filled it out. I provided as much information as possible and paid for express which is 85 dollars. you will need an international money order which U can obtain from most post offices. Check in your area. Fortunately Jamaica has a new phone system which became available in Feb. I called the number which is now on their website. U will see two numbers. the one that is always busy is the one U dont want to call, so call the other one. I had an issue and one of the representatives called me in the USA.the problem was easily solved.In a month i was given a receipt number which u can check to see how far along they are on line. I am pleased to say that after all those months, I received 6 copys of my birth certificate! Good luck!
