I am deeply disturbed after reading this entire blog! I have only just started my quest with the RGD. My partner does not have a copy of his birth certificate. I sent a request for his birth entry number giving all the information that they required. I then sent an e-mail asking for a response as I had not yet received one (the website says they will respond in 2 days). I was about to come on today and send another e-mail when I found and read this blog. Now I'm wondering whether to even bother with them!
