In 1997 I posted a list of Everett slaves and received a nice thank you email from Alva Griffith, with whom I later spoke. My email address has changed twice since then, my mom passed away (2003) and I was so busy teaching college, then hs...but I just retired and am anxious to know if that information helped anyone and how to proceed from here. There are additional wills posted on the Virginia page (USGENWEB) for Matthew Talbot, Williston Talbot and Simmons Everett which should be of some interest to someone.
