again just wanted to keep the thread alive, i have had a look through the threads and unfortunately can not help anyone with the enquires. I am constructing a family tree and feel i have come to a stand still in regards to my Haynes side until i actually go there and visit the Black Rock which i have been informed holds records on Barbadian history.

My Grandfather was Lloyd Stephen Haynes 1929-2007, he lived in st George atfer returning to Barbados in around 1982. he was married to my Grandmother Elmina Haynes (nee thompson) who is still with us. The rest is pretty blurry. I know his father was referred to as Iron pot and was based in st John. He had two sisters, Doreen and Violet and a brother whos name i cannot recall

my info is sketchy but anything addditional would be greatly appreciated.

p.s I GOT A LOT OF INFO FROM ANCESTORY.COM the money is actually worth it, on my British side i got back to about 1888.
