Except in the case of a national or service provider emergency the IT system of the Registrar General's Department has never been "down" as far as we are aware. Where the service provider cannot support us as in the aftermath of a hurricane, a message is usually posted. We do monitor electronically and also do mystery shopping to get an idea of the response time customers are experiencing. Could you send us the dates on which this happened so that we may track this performance. We are pleased that we have had a 99.9% up time so far.
