Hello my name is Adrian Hyman and i am a Jamaican living in the states.I now have become seemingly aware of my last name,because every time i introduce myself people are shocked and even suprised that have that name.They immediately inform me that the name is Jewish. ohh yeah, I forgot to say that i'm living in miami.So I meet alot of jewish people.Before coming to the states i had no idea that the name even meant anything. i am now really interested to know history of the name and how it came to Jamaica.i can sincerly say that while i was living in jamaica that, other than my immediate family members i never met any other Hyman's. We have a very small family base, and my father has never told me anything about his ancestors.
