i would like to know what is the normal time frame to research someone birth certificate? i applied latter part of march 2008, and i am been told they are still searching for my birth certificate. all the necessary information was provided excluding the certificate number.i intended to visit jamaica this summer, but it looks impossible at the rate this corperation is searching it is very unfare on unprofessional to keep the genaral public waiting. the other west indian island process is not this long. i personally think we should review and update this system especially with modern technology.
