I am in search of the father of the following person:
Jabez Schultz, b ca.1880 Berbice d ca 1969 in Station Street, Kitty, Greater Georgetown. Was a coloured creole with the nickname scotsman creole. Member of Scottish Presbyterian church; lay preacher. Was a manager of a balata plantation,owned land in the village of Ithaca, Berbice.

Rebecca Barker, his first wife, was a boviander: amerindian and black. She was from Barakara Canje creek and died before 1924.

There are relations to the Briggs and Hinds (e. g. Walvid Hinds, a doctor who lived in New York).

Could anybody help me with facts about this couple? Would be grateful for any piece in this puzzle. Is there a chance to get a birth certificate of Jabez Schultz and where?
