I applied for my dad birth certificate on his behalf since last year September. I paid the money they asked because the website claimed that nothing will get process until this is paid. I received an email stating that they cannot find the birth certificate. I have been trying ever since to get a copy and right now I have sent several emails without getting a response. I tried calling the office and the phone only right without an answer. I planned on disputing the charges with my credit card company because I did not receive the service I paid for last year. This goes to show that nothing ever change in Jamaica.
