My family, the Gunters were slaves of a slave owner named Joseph Gunter.My family seems to have originated in Chatham County, North Carolina.I have researched back to 1800 for my family. The white Gunters go back to the early 1600's.We were told our family might have come from Jamaica. My family is probably mixed with Caucasian blood.Give me some information about your family.Thanks
