hi, i have been searching for months to find out about my great grnanfather. he was born in kingston jamaica in about 1874 and began working on the ships (merchant navt i think) then he came to england where he married and had 5 kids, one of them my grandfather. i went to find his death certificate and there was'nt one so he must of died at sea, so i am no futher forward as i think he died in the '30s and no one is still alive who knew him. i would love to know if i have relatives out there, could anyone give me any tips. his name is joseph brown and he is buried where i live i just cant prove that it is him.gateshead, england
