josephus varlack was my mothers father. she spoke of a much older brother charles and a sister iris. she has a brother joseph who shares the same mother and father. she says her father had a lot of children and was 62 when she was born. she was born in st thomas and followed her mother to nyc through ellis island. she says varlack is a czechoslovakian name. she says there were two brothers who were sailors. josephus and rodney I have a picture of him and charles as a child. he was a white man.
