My ancestors were slaves in Rockingham Co., North Carolina. I read that the first slaves brought to this county (in the late 1700s) were from Antigua. (It's possible that I'm descended from this original group). They were brought by "the Farley brothers" who I'm assuming were slave traders.

I'm just wondering if anyone has heard of slaves from Antigua being taken to NC.
