Hello, everyone -

My family is from the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas. We are the descendants of William & Addie Allen, who would've died sometime in the 1880s in the Bahamas. They had nine children, one of whom was my great-grandfather (Rev. George W. Allen).

We have a good amount of information about my great-grandfather and several of his siblings because they immigrated to the States and I have some Census info and obits. Now, however, I'm looking for more, and would also like to do some research on William & Addie, who did not immigrate. I'd like birth/death dates and any other information I can locate.

Does anyone know if there are Bahamian birth/death records online somewhere? We just returned from a reunion in Nassau 6 weeks ago, but it was so packed with events that I didn't have any time for research.

Thanks so much for any help you can give me, or any suggestions on where to start.
