Yeah, that's a REAL problem, which may explain why I have four Paul Crawleys in my database:
Paul, son of John Crawley and Sarah Taylor;
Paul, Jr., son of Paul Crawley, Sr. and Catherine;
Paul, son of John, Crawley, Jr., and Mary;
and Paul, son of John Crawley and Catherine.

I haven't researched this line in many years and don't have as much detail on the Crawleys, but I'll be happy to share whatever I have. Let me know if I can provide any help to you.
