Re: Blacks in Canada, 1861
In Response To: Re: Blacks in Canada, 1861 (Lee Cook)
Hi, Lisa I hope that you are able to perform another look-up request. Familysearch.org is not helping with this brick wall. I have found information about Thomas Scott, a shoemaker in Buxton from about 1855 to around 1878. I found him and wife Eunice/Unis in 1861, but cannot find their children. Thomas' son Cassius A. from his first marriage was born around 1853 in Oberlin and spent his adult life in Detroit with wife Ellen/Helen. I am trying to learn if Cassius lived in Ontario and if any other Scott children born prior to 1853 lived with Thomas in Kent County. Those would be the first cousins of my great grandfather. Thanks in advance. Your fellow AAGGMV member,
