Ashok Mathur is hosting a gathering celebrating the life of John Freemont Smith: On July 15, the great-granddaughter of John Freemont Smith will be visiting Kamloops and she is looking forward to hearing more about her ancestor and his legacy. To that end, we would like to invite you to a small gathering to meet Andrea Baines (and her uncle, Smith's grandson, who will be traveling with her) to share stories about the Freemont Block, its occupants, and its history.
