In 1861, I don't see George Kinley anywhere. Tried various spellings, still cannot find him. I did, however, find a William and Sarah Kinley living in Hungerford, Hastings, ON. William was 55, born in the U.S., a furrier, was Baptist and there was one male member of the family absent. The enumerator didn't do such a great job in completing this form, and the strange marks and squiggles on the page make it hard to comprehend. As a result, I cannot tell if he's listed as "colored" or not.

Sarah, his wife, was 53, b. Lower Canada (Quebec) and was Roman Catholic. Their three daughters were all born in Upper Canada (Ontario):
Adaline 13
Mariah 8
Chatrian 4

Whether these are your people remains to be seen, but it's the only Sarah Kinley I could find that might fit. Ontario didn't start recording vital records on a provincial level until 1869, though some counties kept local records. Looked through what's online at Ancestry.ca, couldn't find anything.
