Selma; Yes, if you can find them. I'm SO bummed about PaperOfRecord's demise (it was an incredible database), and I don't know when or if it will be available online. Another database to consider is the Journal of Negro History. Though it wasn't founded until 1916 by Carter Woodson, many of the articles contain historical information about blacks in Canada (and the U.S.). It's now available, freely (this is NEW) at the URL, below. Good luck in your research. If I find other places where these black canadian newspapers reside online or off, I'll post it here. - Lisa
