You know I am helping a friend do some research of her family that was in Canada..(you sent me info with them on the 1861 Canadian census), and I subsequently found them still in Ontario in 1871, they were back in the US in Salem Ohio by 1880.
Should I be advising her to take a look at the newspapers you noted to see if they were mentioned.
