On Saturday, Feb 28, 2009, at 6:00 pm, the Buxton Historical Society will be hosting a "SOUL FOOD DINNER". This promises to be an evening of good food, good company, and an inspiring program... The program will open with our unveiling of the "A.D.Shadd Stamp" with James Shreve, courtesy of Canada Post. To learn more about Abraham Shadd click here . The featured guest speakers for the evening are Joyce Middleton and Violet Shadd who be will sharing insights on their recent mission trip to East Africa. The evening program will conclude with the drawing of door prizes and everyone will want to hear their name called for the WEYA WOMEN WALL HANGING!
