You know what...I just blanked out for a sec and forgot to mention that it is interesting that records say Thomas Coleman was son of Judson and Jefferson. Was Judson a nickname? Or could John Henry (Thomas C's son) have made an error in reporting? After the 1861 Census there is no sign of Judson anywhere, he was only about 38 when he came so I wonder if he returned to the US prior to the 1901 Census or just set up shop in another community i.e. Windsor/Amhestburg etc?
