Does anyone know the names of Josiah Henson's children with his first wife Charlotte(I think that's her name)? I know he escaped to Ontario with four children, but his autobiography only mentions the eldest, Tom, as far as I could read.
I have a Josiah M. Henson b. 1828 US married abt. 1860 Mary Jane? b. 1833 Canada. In 1860 they live in Jackson Co. MI with my relative William H. Butler. In 1870 they live in Adrian, Lenawee Co. MI with my relative Myra J. Butler. In 1881 they live in Kent Co., Camden West Twp. Ontario on lot 3 which is next to Josiah Henson's lot 2 just outside Dawn.
I'm thinking Josiah M. Henson is a son of Josiah Henson. And his wife Mary Jane is a sister to William H. & Myra J. Butler.
