Linda Brown-Kubish spent several years researching and documenting the lives of the black families who settled the Queen's Bush area of Ontario, Canada between 1839 and 1865. Prior to her death (in December 2003), she finished the final editing of her book, which is being published by Natural Heritage Books and will be available for sale in April for $27.00 Canadian.

This book is a MUST-HAVE for any researchers of black Canadian history for the Queen's Bush area. I'm just sorry that Linda didn't live to see the publication of her life's work.
