Currently, you need a subscription to ECO (Early Canadiana Online) to gain access to their full catalog of digital images, and the cost for home users is prohibitive. But Ancestry.ca has announced that they will be offering the entire ECO collection "soon," whatever that means.

Kath is right in terms of the INCREDIBLE importance of this collection. ALL of the images are digitized and easily searchable, and can be printed on your home computer. I've found several documents relating to my LEE ancestors' early days in what was then known as "New France," and the quality of the images is quite good.

By all means, take a look at this collection, knowing that, hopefully, by year's end, all of the images will be available via ancestry.ca, the Canadian version of ancestry.com.
