Anyway, I've had good success finding my Canadian cousins in the 20th century by using Canada411, then making several cold calls.

The first time I did this, the VERY first phone call I made turned out to be to my third cousin! I know many people are nervous to make these types of calls, but I've found Canadians to be much more pleasant and courteous than Americans in this regard.

At any rate, that's all I can think of to suggest you try if you're trying to find someone still living.
